1. Please install the motherboard inf driver in order to activate
the AGP bus on the motherboard. The latest motherboards chipset
driver may be obtained from the following website link or from your
motherboard manufacturing website.

Q2. Once Windows get started and after the driver is installed correctly, the monitor screen appears only a "16 Color" mode?
Verify if there is any IRQ conflict in System (access it from Control Panel). If not then enter to CMOS Setup and enable the option: "Assign IRQ for VGA".
Q3. While install on my PC , my computer loses Vertical Sync?
Please check your monitor 's specification. Some monitors connect the DDC signal to ground ! Which causes the BIOS not to detect your monitor , therefore , causing your nVidia Geforce 4 MX graphics card not to receive any data or refresh rates !
Q4.The Image on my monitor keeps on flickering and the drivers can't change the refresh-rate?
1.Click the right button of your mouse on the desktop and then choose the " Properties"
2.Select the "Settings" tab
3.Click the "Advanced Properties"
4.Select" Monitor " tab
5.Click "Change"
6.Select " Show All Devices " and choose your monitor type . If your monitor type is not listed , please select one that is similar as possible.
Q5. How do I change the resolution, color, and refresh-rate on my Windows 98SE system?
Open "My Computer" folder and select the "Control Panel" icon. Double -Click on "Display" icon, then select "Setting" tab, and then choose "Color Palette Colors" to change the Color Values. Adjusting "Screen Area" to change the Resolution (screen image size). From the same tab Click -on "Advanced ..." to access the Refresh -rate.

The procedure is basically the same as the Windows 98 SE system, except that you must select " TEST" then click "OK", so that the changes can take effect.

1.The nVidia Geforce 4MX graphics card needs to see real 75 Ohms AV input. However, not all TV have this, and some have a switch labled "Terminate" next to the AV inputs to urn the 75 Ohms off to allow more than one TV to be connected. If you have this problem, or check for a "Terminate" switch.
2.According to motherboard vendor this may also caused a problem by motherboard using a linear voltage regulator that does not supply enough voltage to the VGA card, and there is not enough voltage to maintain TV-out.
Q8.My Xenic VGA card keeps on locking up, How can I fix it ?
1. Are you over clocking your graphic card or your processor ? If you are , try to set to default clock and test it !
2. Have you assigned an IRQ to VGA in your motherboard BIOS ! If not , please do it !
3. Have you got an IRQ in conflict with your graphic card? if it is, please try to move the card to another PCI slot .
4. Are you running any kind of antivirus software in the background ? Try to disable it !
5. Try to install the latest AGP drivers of your motherboard chipset .( VIA 4-in-1 drivers or Intel chipset drivers )
6. If you have an "AGP driving control " setting in your BIOS , try to set BA in the value, or another instead of "Auto ".
7. If you have a VIA chipset ,try to enable AGP 4X . We have chosen to disable the AGP side band transfer ,because there have been various unstable system issues with some motherboards .
Q9.The system will hang up when I play 3D game in the Windows 98SE system?
Please follow the these steps:
1.Start---Programs---Accessories---System tools---System Information---Tools---DirectX diagnostic---Display---Disable "Direct3D Acceleration" to try.
2. If the situation is the same , please kindly check if there are any Patch files of your 3D game.
Q10.When I install the 2X.XX drives Windows 9X locks up at the bootup screen , How can I fix ?
Make sure your Xenic VGA card is not sharing with any other devices , if you find that it is , try to move the device in to another PCI slot, or reassigning the PCI IRQ in the BIOS. In particular, there first PCI slot is frequency forced to share an IRQ with AGP slot.
Q11.If I set the Xenic VGA card as the primary card in the BIOS, my secondary PCI Video is not detected?
Check in your C:\Config.sys files to see if you are loading Emm386.exe, if you are, please remove it
Q12.Games hang with my nVidia Geforce 4 MX graphics card .How can I fix it?
1.Go in to the system control Panel, then click on Device Manager, and then find your CD / DVD-rom drivers and an hard drives. Go to each one , click on setting and check DMA
2. Make sure that Video BIOS shadowing is disabled in your BIOS
3. Make sure that your graphic card is not sharing any "IRQ Holder for PCI Steering" if you find that, try to move the card into another PCI slot.
